New York Film Festival 2015: Best movies, from ‘The Walk’ to ‘Carol’

The New York Film Festival has come to symbolize curated excellence during the course of its 53 years, offering film buffs a chance to see the best and brightest from the international film festival circuit, along with splashy world premieres.

The 2015 edition, with opening night delayed until Saturday due to Pope Francis’ visit to the city, offers more of the same.
