Burgerology named official burger of the New York Islanders & UBS Arena

Burgerology, the beloved Long Island-based burger joint, has officially become the official burger of UBS Arena and the New York Islanders with their new partnership, marking a significant milestone for the company.

UBS Arena, located at Belmont Park in Elmont, NY, is the official home of the New York Islanders, featuring a 17,000-seat arena, and is also a world-class entertainment and sports complex that offers a wide range of facilities for concerts, attractions, and other events.

Established in 2017 by a dynamic father and son duo, Eddie and John Galatoulas, Burgerology has grown from its first location, NY Burger Bar, to 11 Burgerology locations with more openings in the pipeline, driven by their passion for serving mouthwatering burgers and creating a family-friendly brand with a focus on high-quality meat and a fun dining experience for all.

John Galatoulas has been a die-hard Islanders fan since his days as a kid. He reminisced about his fond memories of attending Islanders games at the Coliseum and how surreal it is to see his restaurant in the brand new UBS Arena. John expressed, “It’s surreal in high school going to the Coliseum to catch an Islanders game, and I walk into the beautiful brand new UBS Arena to watch an Islanders game and see my restaurant.”

As a young entrepreneur, John, at 26 has been the force driving Burgerology’s success. He has always been passionate about serving delicious burgers and creating unforgettable experiences for his customers. John’s devotion to quality, customer experience, and passion has been the bedrock of Burgerology’s triumph with their goal of expanding nationwide.

Burgerology’s partnership with the UBS Arena and the NY Islanders is an organic fit for the company and allows them to be more than just a burger joint. Being a homegrown brand, Burgerology’s association with the Islanders, has given them immeasurable exposure and boundless opportunities as it cements them as one of the most prominent fast-casual brands on Long Island.

Two of their signature burgers, the Classic Burger with pickles, American cheese, tomato, and house sauce, and the Henry Ford Burger with a bacon blend patty, house Sauce, cheddar cheese, and caramelized onions, are crafted with high-quality meat and exquisite ingredients.

Burgerology uses USDA Prime Beef, which is the top 3% of cattle consumed in the country, making them the only burger/restaurant on Long Island that serves it. Their shakes are the most exciting item on the menu, with unique flavors and combinations that cater to the kid in everyone. Speaking about their shakes, John stated, “Shakes are the most fun thing! We’re 100% kids at heart, and for us, it starts with fun rather than business. If an idea sounds cool, then let’s make it happen.”
