The holiday season is definitely in full swing in New York City, with star-studded events bringing in some additional cheer.
On Dec. 1, Nordstrom NYC held its annual holiday celebration, this year at Central Park’s Wollman Rink. Throughout the night, guests could enjoy ice skating with Santa, holiday treats, specialty cocktails and a lineup of fun activities both indoors and outdoors.
Several VIP guests were in attendance, including Brooke Shields, Busy Philipps, Katie Holmes, Dominique Jackson, Natasha Lyonne and Phoebe Robinson.
Additional guests included Gigi Ganatra, Chris Wanlass, Lissy Trullie, Jessica Joffe, Gigi Burris-Ohara, Lynn Yaeger, Fern Mallis, Joanna Hillman, Sophie Elgort, Batsheva Hay, Elena Velez, Sintra Martins, Stuart Vevers, Eric Rutherford, Matthew Mazur, Charlie Engman, Dan Pelosi, Denny Balmaceda and more.
The partnership between Nordstrom and Wollman Rink was designed to surprise and delight all visitors with memorable holiday-themed offerings through Jan. 1, 2023. As a part of the partnership, Nordstrom is sponsoring Nordstrom After School Free Skates, where they will distribute 500 free skates to children and families in the NYC Parks after-school programs.
Additionally, for the holiday season, the rinkside tent at Wollman Rink has been turned into the Nordstrom Chill Lounge. Visitors can upgrade their rink admission by $40 for Nordstrom Chill Lounge access. Lounge access includes expedited rink entry, skate rental concierge service, cozy seating, free lockers and complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, tea and refreshments, photo opportunities with Nordstrom’s in-store Santa on select days, and a complimentary sweet treat redemption at Nordstrom’s NYC Flagship on 57th and Broadway.
