Police have arrested a man accused of brutally stabbing his Bronx girlfriend to death inside her apartment and severely injuring her son in a bloody rampage on Saturday.

According to police sources, 45-year-old Juan Rivas fled the apartment, located at 956 Sherman Ave. in Concourse, just after 6:40 a.m. on Feb. 28 — but police were able to catch up to him and take him into custody not long after they discovered the carnage he left in his wake.

Officers from the 44th Precinct responded to 911 calls reporting an assault in progress after neighbors were woken up to the sounds of screaming.

When they arrived at the scene, cops found blood in the hallway of the third floor — which led them to a more grim discovery.

Inside a nearby apartment, they discovered 42-year-old Yesenia Hall stabbed in the back, stomach, and neck. Her 16-year-old son was nearby, also with stab wounds to his neck and back.

They were both rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where Hall could not be saved and was pronounced dead. The teen remains in stable condition and is expected to survive.

According to police sources, both Rivas and Hall lived together in the same apartment.

He has been charged with murder, attempted murder, manslaughter, criminal possession of weapon and assault.
