Police are looking for the suspect who viciously slashed a 19-year-old woman in an unprovoked assault on a Bronx train Wednesday night.

The NYPD released video footage of the creep responsible for the Feb. 12 attack, which occurred at 9:45 p.m. on board a Pelham Bay Park-bound 6 train near the Brook Avenue station, in Mott Haven.

According to police, the victim was minding her own business while riding when the creep approached her. Using an unknown sharp object, authorities said, he began slashing the victim about the head.

Cops said the woman bled profusely and suffered deep lacerations to her head and hands.

Following the bloody assault, the attacker fled from the train after it arrived at the Brook Avenue station.

Officers from the 40th Precinct and NYPD Transit Bureau 1 responded to the incident. Paramedics brought the woman to Lincoln Hospital in serious but stable condition, police said.

Police described the assailant as a black man between 20 and 30 years of age, wearing dark clothing. He’s shown in the video footage running near the scene while wearing a light-colored hat, a black jacket, blue jeans and sneakers.
