Police are still looking for two individuals involved in a New Year’s Day rumble aboard a 6 train in the Bronx.
The battle was joined at 7 a.m. on Jan. 1 at the Elder Avenue station, within the confines of the 43rd Precinct. The NYPD released on Jan. 5 a video of the showdown between a man and woman on Twitter.
In the footage, a woman can be seen on the ground in the train kicking the male suspect before getting up and hitting him repeatedly with her hands and fists.
At one point in the fight, police said, the man dragged the woman off the train at the Elder Avenue train station and allegedly kicked her in the stomach. That detail was not included in the footage police released Sunday.
Police want the public’s help in identifying and the two for questioning regarding the assault.
