Cops seek man who stabbed a 13-year-old girl during a fight in the Bronx

Cops are looking for a man who stabbed a 13-year-old girl during an altercation in the Bronx last week.

Authorities say that at 6 p.m. on Jan. 31, a 13-year-old girl was with a group of friends in front of 2628 3rd Avenue when they got into an argument with an unknown man. The argument escalated and turned physical, with the 13-year-old and her friends attacking the man by punching him throughout the head and torso.

The man pulled out a knife and stabbed the 13-year-old girl several times in the neck and torso. He then fled the scene on a scooter to parts unknown.

The 13-year-old girl suffered bleeding and puncture wounds and was rushed to Harlem Hospital in serious but stable condition.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. He was last seen wearing a red cap and all dark clothing.
