Police release video of creep wanted for alleged groping on a Midtown subway during rush hour

Police released surveillance images of a man who is wanted for allegedly groping a woman on the subway in Midtown.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at around 7 a.m. Officials said that at this time, a 40-year-old woman was aboard a Manhattan-bound E train approaching the Lexington Avenue-53rd Street station when the man allegedly grabbed the victim’s buttocks and private area.

He then fled the train at the Lexington Avenue station, according to officials, and the woman remained on the train.

The man is wanting for forcible touching in the NYPD’s 17th Precinct, and anyone with information about his identity is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
