Police released footage on Monday morning of a brazen gunpoint robbery on a Kips Bay street in which the thief shot his victim after stealing his property.

Law enforcement sources said the stickup occurred at about 2:15 a.m. on Aug. 1 in front of a home on East 30th Street off 3rd Avenue.

As shown on camera, the suspect runs up to the 35-year-old male victim and ambushes him at gunpoint. The victim attempted to scurry away, but the thief kept him at bay while demanding the victim’s watch and necklace.

Though the victim complied with the robber’s demands, cops said, he was shot in the thigh for his trouble.

Following the robbery, the perpetrator fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 17th Precinct responded to the incident. EMS brought the victim to Bellevue Hospital for treatment.

As shown on camera, the suspect had a dark complexion and wore a red hooded sweatshirt with white writing on the back, black pants with white and pink stripes down the side, and black shoes with white soles.
