Cops are looking for a bigot who tried to drag an Asian passenger off of a subway in Manhattan.
Police say that at 5:30 a.m. on May 3, a 30-year-old man was riding the 4 train near the 59th Street subway station when an unknown man began to make anti-Asian statements at him. The suspect then grabbed the victim by the right wrist and shoulder and attempted to pull him off of the train.
The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim was uninjured and refused medical attention at the scene.
Later that day, the NYPD released a photo and video of the suspect taken on the train:
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a light complexion.
