Detectives continue to investigate the tragic deaths of a mother and her five-year-old daughter who took a deadly plunge on Sunday off the top of a 12-story apartment building in Hell’s Kitchen in an apparent murder-suicide.

Oksana Patchin, 39, and her daughter Olivia, 5, fell to their deaths from the roof of the building located at 540 West 53rd St. at about 1:45 p.m. on Jan. 10.

According to the New York Post, the Patchins, who resided on Eastern Parkway in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, were visiting friends at the location. It was reported that Oksana had asked for access to the roof, and security cameras nearby spotted her grabbing Olivia and jumping from the top of the building.

Officers from the Midtown North Precinct, in responding to a 911 call, found the two victims on the pavement unconscious and unresponsive, with severe body trauma.

Paramedics rushed them to Mount Sinai West Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Police sources said that no suicide note was left at the scene, but Oksana Patchin had a prior history of mental illness.
