A woman was arrested for allegedly throwing bleach at another woman who was waiting for the train in Manhattan last week.
Lakeesha Tyler, 46, was taken into custody on Jan. 17 and charged with assault.
According to police, at 12:40 p.m. on Jan. 16, a 37-year-old woman was standing on the 1 train platform at the 14th Street/6th Avenue subway station when Tyler allegedly approached her, unprovoked, and threw bleach in her face.
Tyler then allegedly fled on foot topside to parts unknown. The victim was taken to Lenox Healthplex for treatment.
