In another incident of a photographer getting arrested after allegedly being roughed up by police during the Republican National Convention, these photos — according to Jake Price, who took them — show Newsday photographer Moises Saman being thrown and then arrested in Times Sq. on Sun. evening, Aug. 29. “We were covering some protests and the next thing I know, I see this body flying, and I said ‘Holy s—t! That was my friend!’ ” said Price. Last week, The Villager reported the accounts of seven photographers who said they were pushed or worse by police during the R.N.C.
