Detectives are looking for two teen girls who assaulted a senior on a mobility scooter aboard a Brooklyn bus earlier this month.

According to police sources, the incident unfolded on board a B42 bus as it traveled along East 88th Street and Flatlands Avenue at around 4:20 p.m. on Feb. 6.

Cops say the 74-year-old man was attempting to move his mobility scooter into a designated section of the MTA bus when he struggled to get around the two young women, causing him to bump into them.

The two teen girls then got into a verbal argument with the scooter-bound man. Things quickly turned physical when one of the suspects started swinging at the man with a closed fist, striking him about the body numerous times.

Both suspects had fled by the time officers from the 69th Precinct responded to the scene. EMS rushed the senior — who suffered pain to his head, arms and legs — to Brookdale University Hospital for treatment and evaluation; he was listed in stable condition.

On Monday, the NYPD released images of the two suspects sought for the assault. One of the suspects was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, and black bonnet, while the second was dressed in black hooded jacket, and black glasses.

Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA). You can also submit tips online at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org, or on X (formerly Twitter) @NYPDTips. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
