Police have arrested several young men, the latest a 19-year-old from Brooklyn for the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old west Bronx boy last month.

The victim, Kahlik Grier, was gunned down inside his home building at 3560 Webster Avenue at about 11:47 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 11 while a second individual was non-fatally wounded by the shooting as well.

Since that time, police have arrested several co-conspirators in regards to Grier’s killing, beginning with: 21-year-old Deshaun Grier and 19-year-old Desire Louree who both lived in that same apartment building, followed by a 15-year-old boy, and most recently 19-year-old Orlando Benn of East New York Brooklyn.

At this time, NYPD did not indicate a relationship between Deshaun Grier and the victim; a motive in the fatal shooting has not yet been determined either.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
