Cats and Dogs, In Shorts

From Poe’s black cat to T.C. Boyle’s “Heart of a Champion,” cats and dogs have inspired writers since the beginning. Tonight, “Selected Shorts” includes funny and moving tales, hosted by novelist Ann Patchett (“Bel Canto”) and with readings by Jane Curtin, John Benjamin Hickey (“The Good Wife”), and more.
