With temperatures expected to climb well over 90 degrees Saturday and Sunday one cool place to go is the Bosque sprinklers in historic Battery Park. The fountain’s electrical system was badly damaged as a result of Hurricane Sandy but the Battery Conservancy spent $100,000 to repair them and they were recently turned back on — just in time as these young ones who were playing Thursday could attest.
