On Sunday at around 4:30 p.m. a cab drove into the fence at the Village View apartment complex at 40 First Ave., at E. Third St., above. The taxi then flew into reverse and sped across First Ave., mowing down a school-crossing sign and plowing into D.B.A., between Second and Third Sts., below. The bar’s sign came down, the awning was left dented and the wood frame around the window was broken. The hack reportedly had a seizure. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
