Using just Tyvek and duct tape, kids five through 12 can learn how to design and create wearable garments under the instruction of costume designer Michael Anzalone, whose credentials include television work at NBC Universal and film work on titles including “Taking Woodstock,” “Reservation Road,” and “The Wedding Album.” Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian National Design Museum, 2 E. 91st St. Jan. 9, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. This workshop is free, but reserve your space at cooperhewitt.org.
