Dogs rescued from East Harlem apartment are ready to be adopted, but as a pair

A pair of dogs are ready for a loving home after they were abandoned in an East Harlem apartment along with a cat.

The small dogs, Beth and Seth, have fallen in love with each other and need to be adopted together.

The Shih Tzu and a Chihuahua were forced to fend for themselves after they, and Gwen the cat, were abandoned inside the East 116th Street apartment. Police found the animals when they responded to a report of a gas odor, and were told by the building’s super that the tenants who lived there were long gone.
