In “Don’t Monkey with Broadway,” two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone offers inimitable interpretations of classic Broadway show tunes by Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart, Jule Styne, Stephen Schwartz, Charles Strouse, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, and Irving Berlin. She’ll talk about how her life-long love affair with Broadway began as well as her concerns about what it is becoming today. The evening is conceived and directed by Scott Whittman, with musical direction by Joseph Thalken and arrangements by Dick Gallager.
