A 25-year-old man was killed Tuesday night in Brownsville during an alleged drug deal gone bad, police said.

Cops responded to a 911 call at Rutland Road and E. 96th Street around 10:00 and found Mervyn Spann, 25, with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead, then NYPD said.

Investigators said they haven’t identified any suspects but believe the shooting was related to a drug related issue and may have occurred during a deal.
