Milo Hess’ award-winning photo of the Downtown Dance Festival.
Downtown Express photographer Milo Hess won a first place award from the New York Press Association in the Art Photo category for his picture of the Downtown Dance Festival.
“Nice work capturing the motion in this photo,” judges wrote of Hess’ picture, which ws published on the cover of the Aug 28, 2014 edition. “Good crop and good composition.”
The awards were announced at NYPA’s annual convention in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. March 27 and 28.
