Firefighters accused in fight at McFadden’s near Citi Field, NYPD says

Three FDNY firefighters have been charged after getting into a fight outside Citi Field on Friday, police said.

Police said the fight broke out around 8:30 p.m. outside McFadden’s bar, which is connected to Citi Field at 36-2 126th St.

Michael Profeta, 34, and John Martin, 33, are charged with assault and disorderly conduct, according to police, while Anthony Cardazone, 33, faces charges of assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Police said the men were fighting an unidentified person, who was not arrested.

An FDNY spokesman said the incident is under investigation and that the fire department could not comment further.

Friday was the Mets’ home opener at Citi Field. The Amazins won 7-2 against the Philadelphia Phillies.
