At the celebration of Diwali, the Festival of Lights, at the South St. Seaport two weekends ago, Amrit, 3½ years old, and Isha, 2, Sahota at the children’s festival sat in a swing next to a photo Gandhi, the spiritual leader of Indian independence and pioneer of nonviolent civil disobedience.
