It’s a win-Winnie situation at St. Mark’s in the Bowery

After a year as priest in charge at St. Mark’s Church in the Bowery, at E. 10th St. and Second Ave., Reverend Winnie Varghese (kneeling) was officially installed by the Right Reverend Mark Sisk, Episcopal bishop of the Diocese of New York (right), on Sun., April 25. With congregation members both looking on in approval and participating in the gift-giving ritual, Varghese promised to serve God and the community.
