Tribeca Hebrew, an independent Jewish after-school program, is hosting their first-ever Sukkot Family Block Party Sunday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m., rain or shine. Jay St. in Tribeca will be closed to decorate a sukkah and to enjoy organic foods and the entertainment of the Jewish Funkey Monkeys, a group created by the composer of Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer, Joshua Sitron. The Funkey Monkeys sing and act out stories with music and magic.
“We are looking forward to bringing this great Jewish custom to the neighborhood,” said Marnie Berk,
Tribeca Hebrew was formed in 2004 by a group of parents.
