A 20-year-old man died of his injuries in Harlem after he was shot multiple times on Halloween night.
Authorities say that at 11:21 p.m. on Oct. 31, the NYPD responded to a call regarding a man shot at 54 Bradhurst Avenue. Upon their arrival, officers found the victim lying on the ground with gunshot wounds to his back and neck.
The victim was rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.
A preliminary investigation found that the victim was shot less than a block away in front of 320 West 145th Street. A ShotSpotter Siren was activated for three rounds at the nearby 334 West 145th Street.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
