It wasn’t quite a million, but the group One Million Moms for Gun Control drew out 400 moms, dads and kids on Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, for a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to commemorate the great civil rights leader and raise the call for gun control in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre. New York has three chapters of One Million Moms for Gun Control and they’re currently organizing another in Staten Island.
