Coyotes, coyotes everywhere!

A postal worker spotted a coyote early Thursday morning in East Elmhurst near LaGuardia Airport, Port Authority confirmed.

The coyote, first spotted on Ditmars Blvd. and East 82nd St., ran into Elmjack Field, Port Authority said. There haven’t been any sightings since.

The news was first reported by DNA Info.

This is hardly the first coyote sighting recently. In April, coyotes were captured in Middle Village, Battery Park City and Chelsea and spotted on the Upper West Side (that one escaped). Experts told amNewYork that it’s part of an increasing trend of wild animals in NYC.
