New Yorkers got their first hint of spring on Monday, with sunny skies and temperatures reaching into the mid-50s, according to National Weather Service.

The relatively mild weather is expected to stick around through at least Thursday.

High temperatures for Tuesday and Wednesday will top out in the mid- to upper 40s, with overnight lows in the 30s.

Thursday will see a return to the 50s, temperature-wise, but a storm system will bring cloudy skies and rain is predicted to begin overnight and continue into Friday, according to the weather service.

But don’t cancel those weekend plans: Saturday and Sunday look to be sunny with highs near 50 degrees.
