NYPD releases new images of would-be rapist

Hoping to track down a would-be rapist who attacked an Inwood woman as she walked her dog Sunday morning, police have released new surveillance photos and video of the suspect.

The 30-year-old victim was walking her dog at just before 7 a.m. near West 212 Street when a man grabbed her from behind and tried to rip off her clothes, police said. The woman fought off her attacker by screaming and biting him before he fled, authorities said.

The victim, who is pregnant, was not injured, according to reports.

The suspect is described as black; 25 to 30 years old; 5 feet, 11 inches tall; and weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue denim shorts and a brown or red baseball cap.
