The Occupy Wall Street movement built upon the message behind Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, last Monday, January16 by holding a rally in Union Square. The demonstration was sponsored by a sub-group called “Occupy 4 Jobs” and reminded everyone that on the day before Dr. King was shot, while standing on a hotel balcony in Memphis, Tennessee, he had pledged to start a movement to guarantee fair paying jobs for all people.
