Seek bank robber

Police are looking for a disheveled man who walked into the Citibank branch at 250 Broadway at Park Pl. at 8:45 a.m. Wed., June 9 and passed a note to a teller demanding money. The teller pushed the note back and did not hand over anything and the suspect fled. He was described as a white man between 45 and 55 years old, between 5’7” and 5’9” with a heavy build, balding gray-brown hair, yellowing teeth and wearing a gray jacket, black shirt, khaki trousers and dark shoes. Soho burglary

Police arrested Lynwood Murphy, 48, shortly before 2:30 a.m. Fri., June 11 and charged him with entering the John Varvatos boutique, 122 Spring St. near Greene St. and walking out with three leather hooded jackets with a total value of $5,985. Police were alerted when the suspect tripped an alarm in the shop and apprehended him as he left the store. In an attempt to evade arrest, Murphy put the jackets next to some trash bags on the sidewalk and took off his green sweater, police said. Murphy, a Brooklyn resident, was charged with third degree burglary, grand larceny and possession of stolen property.

Tourist camera snatch

A visitor from Madrid was talking on his cameraphone at 10:30 p.m. Mon., June 14, on the northwest corner of Dey and Church Sts. when two thieves snatched it and fled, police said.

Loses wallet

After a Queens man, 30, got out of a cab on the southeast corner of Varick and Spring Sts. at 10:40 a.m. Sat. May 29, he realized that he left in wallet in the cab, police said, The cab sped away and the victim lost personal ID and $145 cash.

Maiden La. hold-up

A Brooklyn man walking on Maiden La. near Water St. around 1:30 a.m. Sat., June 12 was held up by a man who had what looked like a gun wrapped in newspaper, police said. The suspect told the victim to give up whatever he had in his pocket and then grabbed the victim’s cell phone and fled south on Water St. in a cab. Police stopped the cab a few blocks away, arrested Vladimir Starikov, 23, and charged him with robbery.

Soho shoplift arrests

Two women fled from the Solstice boutique, 107 Spring St. near Mercer St. at 5:20 p.m. Sat., June 12 after lifting four dresses and four pairs of sunglasses, police said. The suspects, Robin Seabrook, 47, and Tanya Odom, 49, were arrested a block away on Broadway about 20 minutes later, and were charged with grand larceny.
