L.E.S. rape
Police are seeking a man who followed a woman, 19, into her building on the Lower East Side on Jan. 18 at about 7:30 a.m., entered the elevator with her and pulled a knife, police said. The suspect forced the victim out of the elevator at the eighth floor and into a stairwell, where he sodomized her, police said. Police did not specify the location of the crime. The suspect, described as between 18 and 20 years old, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, 200 pounds, with a medium build and dark complexion, was wearing a black North Face jacket, blue jeans and black boots. Holdup series arrest
Police arrested Timothy Honey, 46, on Jan. 20 and charged him with first-degree robbery and first-degree attempted robbery in connection with four armed holdups of stores in Greenwich Village and Chelsea between Jan. 9 and Jan. 18.
Police said they stopped the suspect on a Village street in connection with an unrelated incident, and victims identified him as the gunman from a photo array.
Honey is charged with a 6:45 p.m. Jan. 9 holdup of Eskimix, a frozen yogurt shop at 318 Bleecker St., forcing an employee at gunpoint to hand over $300 and fleeing with the money.
Honey is also charged with the 8:05 p.m. holdup of the John Erdos boutique, 316 Bleecker St., on Jan. 15, forcing an employee to hand over $400 at gunpoint and making off with the money and the employee’s cell phone.
Also on Jan. 15 at 8:14 p.m., Honey is charged with pointing a gun at an employee of Rainbow and Triangles, an adult merchandise shop at 192 Eighth Ave. at 20th St., and demanding money at gunpoint from the register. Told there was no money in the register, the suspect fled, according to the complaint filed by Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance.
Honey is also charged with holding a gun to an employee of Planet Green, a boutique at 175 W. Fourth St., at 7:45 p.m. Jan. 18 and threatening to shoot him if he didn’t give him money from the register. The employee refused to open the register and the suspect fled, according to the complaint.
Honey had also been suspected in a Jan. 10 armed holdup of Pleasure Chest, an adult merchandise shop at 156 Seventh Ave. South at Charles St., when $600 was stolen. But the Jan. 20 complaint filed by the district attorney does not mention that incident.
Student stabbed
An argument between two students outside University Neighborhood High School, 200 Monroe St. at the corner of Montgomery St., around 11 a.m. Tues., Jan. 19, ended with the stabbing of a student, 18, police said. Later, police arrested another student, 16, in connection with the incident.
The victim, identified by police only as a student in the school, located in the Seward Park High School Annex building, was taken to Bellevue Medical Center with a stab wound in his back and was listed in stable condition.
Police said the victim did not cooperate with the investigation, but later that day, Seventh Precinct detectives arrested the 16-year-old student, Louis Reyes, of W. 127th St. and charged him with felony assault in connection with the case.

Poses as roofer
Sixth Precinct police are looking for a suspect who went to the home of a West Village woman, 92, on Dec. 30 and convinced her that he was a roofer and that her roof needed emergency repair. The suspect, a white man in his 20s, escorted the woman to the bank, where she withdrew money from her account and handed it to him. Jones St. break-in
A burglar who broke into a second-story apartment on Jones St. near W. Fourth St. sometime Friday afternoon Jan. 15 made off with $300 in cash and electronic items valued at $1,600, police said. The burglar climbed a fire escape and entered through a rear window, police said.
Subway-mug arrests
Two men were arrested Tues., Jan. 19, for the 2 a.m. robbery of a man on the northbound platform of the N train at Canal St. Lamar Long and William Rivera, both 18 and Bronx residents, took $400 and a music player from the victim and boarded a northbound train, police said. The victim called from an emergency phone in the Canal St. station, and police arrested Long and Rivera at the N station at Eighth St. and Broadway.
Soho boutique burglary
A witness who was in a room above the Michael Kors shop at 101 Prince St. heard a bang around 4 a.m. Mon., Jan. 18, and saw three burglars fleeing the shop with two handbags, valued at $1,000 each, which they had taken from a display table in the store, police said.
Livery driver beaten
A livery car driver stopped for two women on the southeast corner of E. Houston and Essex Sts. at 12:35 a.m. Sat., Jan. 23, when a stranger jumped into the cab ahead of them, police said. The driver ordered the intruder to leave and let the two women into the car but the man refused, and after a brief exchange, grabbed the driver by the shirt, punched him and fled. The driver, who was not seriously injured, called 911 and police found Damien Scott, 24, who fit the description, at Downing St. and Sixth Ave., and charged him with third-degree assault.
