7th Ave. So. stabbing

On Sat., Feb. 27, around 2:50 a.m., a 30-year-old woman told police she had a verbal confrontation with an unidentified woman and three men in front of 110 Seventh Ave. South, near Christopher St., at which time one of the individuals stabbed the complainant, causing a laceration, and stole $50 from her. The individuals fled and the victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital where she was treated and released.

The female suspect was last seen wearing khaki pants and a black sweater. The first male suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, gray hooded sweater, gray jogging pants and a black jacket. The second male suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, black jacket, black jeans and black sneakers. The third male suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, black jacket and black jeans, and has a goatee.

Rage against the bar

A man tried to go into El Cantinero, at 86 University Place, after it had closed, around 4:30 a.m. on Mon., Feb. 22, but was rebuffed and then kicked a glass door, cracking and shattering it, according to a report. Police said employees refused to let the man enter the bar, even though he said he had left his phone inside, after which he karate-kicked the door in rage. The damages came to less than $250.

Daniel Perez, 27, was arrested for misdemeanor criminal mischief.

 

You want a pizza me?

The 99-cent pizza place at 388 Sixth Ave., between W. Eighth St. and Waverly Place, got a little rowdy at 3:45 a.m. last Wednesday. On Feb. 24, two men got into a verbal dispute inside the popular hole-in-the-wall eatery, police said. One man then struck the other in the face, causing substantial pain and swelling.

Brandon Venable, 22, was arrested for misdemeanor assault.

 

Meatpacking punches 

An employee at the Gansevoort Hotel, at 18 Ninth Ave., tried to break up a fight in the hotel lobby but ended up taking a punch himself. At 1 a.m. on Sun., Feb. 28, a man got into a fight with another patron at the hotel, police said. When an employee tried to stop the ruckus and escort the man out, he was struck in the face above the left eye, causing swelling. The staffer refused medical attention.

Police arrested Kevin Whylie, 29, for misdemeanor assault.

 

You booze, you lose

A woman exiting an Uber car at Thompson and Bleecker Sts. had her Kate Spade purse stolen by an unknown man around 1 a.m. on Sun., Feb. 28, police said. An officer observed a man removing the handbag, valued at $400, from the woman. Upon a search, the man was found to be in possession of an alleged bag of marijuana.

Because the victim was intoxicated, she was taken to the Lenox Health Greenwich Village medical complex on Seventh Ave.

Police arrested Michael Conner, 52, for felony grand larceny.

Shoved onto the track

According to police, on Fri., Feb. 12, at 2 a.m., a 41-year-old male NYC Transit worker got into a dispute with two men on the northbound E train platform at the W. Fourth St. station over money found on the track. One of the individuals then reportedly pushed the subway worker onto the track, causing an injury to his ankle. The pair fled the location, and the victim was removed to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment.

The two suspects are said to be 30 years old, around 5 feet 11 inches tall, 200 pounds, with black hair, medium complexion, and each last seen wearing a black jacket.
