No patience?
“This is a robbery. 100s and 50s. Don’t hit the button,” said the note on the HSBC deposit slip that the suspect passed to a teller at the 26 Broadway branch around 1:15 p.m. Fri., May 18. The teller took the deposit slip to the bank manager, and the suspect fled east on Beaver St., empty-handed.

Tools stolen
A man who rented space on the ground floor of 295 Broadway near Duane Street in January to store his power tools, told police on Thurs., May 17 that he discovered several tools valued at $1,095 had been stolen. The victim said the place was unlocked and that several people had access to it.

Car stolen
A man who parked his car at 80 N. Moore St. between West and Greenwich Streets at 5:30 a.m. on Thurs., May 17, moved it later to Laight and West Streets because of construction on North Moore Street.  When he returned at 6 p.m., the car was gone, police said.

Bicycle trio
Three suspects were arrested around 5 a.m. Sat., May 12 and charged with stealing four bicycles from the hallways and storage areas at 257 Water St. Brian Cowan, 20, Cesar Delosantos, 19, and Jamar Allah, 19, were charged with larceny.

Gone from workplace
A woman employee at Mark Joseph Steak House, at 261 Water St., told police she stowed her bag in a closet when she arrived at work around 10 p.m. Wed., May 9 and discovered the next morning that it had been stolen.

Lady fares
A cab driver told police that two women who had hailed him around 3:30 p.m. Sun., May 20 at Varick and Vandam Streets began yelling that he wasn’t going fast enough. One woman grabbed the rate card and tore it up, and the other grabbed his iPhone when he was about to call police. The suspects fled the cab at Spring Street and drove off in a black Lincoln that was parked nearby.

High-end lifters
Two men walked into Mulberry at 134 Spring St. around 4 p.m. Wed., May 16 and put two women’s black leather jackets, with a total value of $3,780, into bags and fled without paying, police said.

Bank card spree
A Brooklyn woman who was shopping at the Lucky Strike boutique, 59 Grand St. between West Broadway and Wooster Streets around 2:30 p.m. Tues., May 15, discovered that someone had stolen her wallet, with her $850 paycheck and various credit and bank cards, from her bag. She learned later that two unauthorized MetroCard purchases had been made with her bank card.

Ellis Island rip-off?
A man, 51, told police at the Ellis Island / Statue of Liberty ferry box office in Castle Clinton at 3 p.m. Sun., May 13 that his iPhone had been stolen. He said he last saw the phone when he was at the Ellis Island Museum.
