This year’s Gay Pride Week will kick off with a rally in Bryant Park at Sixth Ave. and 42nd St. this Sun., June 20. Organized by Heritage of Pride, the annual gathering, called “The Rally: Pride Starts Here!” will be emcee’d by Kate Clinton. This year’s speakers and performers include Frank Decaro, Housewives on Prozac, Josh Zuckerman and Stephanie Adams. The event runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The 35th annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride March will be held Sun., June 27. The march begins at Fifth Ave. and 52nd St. at noon, goes down Fifth Ave to Eighth St., where it turns right, proceeding across Sixth Ave. to Greenwich Ave., turning left onto Christopher St. and ending in the Village.
