One teenager is dead and another has been arrested after a fight on a Coney Island street over the weekend, police said.
Officers who were called to a residence on West 24th Street around 11 p.m. Friday found 17-year-old Tajae Warner unconscious and unresponsive, authorities said.
According to a law enforcement source, Warner had gotten into an argument with 18-year-old Sabrina Agard-Ford, who showed up to a party at Warner’s home. Warner had told Agard-Ford to leave, the source said.
While outside of the home, Agard-Ford allegedly struck Warner in the face, causing her to fall and hit her head on the pavement, police said.
Warner was rushed to NYU Medical Center where she died of her injuries two days later, police said.
Agard-Ford has been charged with second-degree attempted murder and second-degree assault, police said.
