On Saturday, calling themselves the Cupcake Cadet Corps, six dancers in pink dresses silently marched in a line down Bleecker St. to Magnolia Bakery, where they broke into song and dance. To the tune of “God Bless America,” they sang, “God Bless the West Village/Boutiques galore/Trendy clothes to wear/Watching celebrities there/Never think of the Middle East war.” “The change in the neighborhood in the last five years with the global corporate brands is amazing,” said Corps choreographer Sue Hogan. They’ll give two more performances on Sun., June 22, at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
