The Parents Association of P.S. 126/Manhattan Academy of Technology is hosting a flea market Saturday, Nov. 5 to raise funds for relief for victims of recent natural disasters. Various vendors have been invited to sell goods. Food, music and children’s games will round out the afternoon. The day will be “like a big, huge rummage sale,” said Evelyn Hernandez, president of the parent’s association. The event will get underway at 11 a.m. and wrap up at 4 or 5 p.m., depending on the crowd and the weather. The market will be held at the Alfred E. Smith baseball fields, which are near where the F.D.R. Drive meets the Brooklyn Bridge.
Hernandez said spaces are still available to anyone interested in having a booth. It is $40 per table. If interested, contact Evelyn Hernandez at (917) 856-5618 or (212) 962-2188, ext. 6115.
