Mobsters are coming Downtown this Saturday, May 22, for the celebrity Stars and Strikes Softball game, with teams comprising some of the cast of “The Sopranos” vs. WKTU Radio.
The event, held at the Murry Bergtraum Field on Cherry St., is kicking off with a block party at 3 p.m. including music, a silent auction, face painting and other children’s activities, followed by the game starting at 5 p.m. through 8 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go to P.S./I.S. 89, the Downtown Little League and the Peter Stuyvesant Little League. Tickets cost $25 which can be bought from Ticketmaster, 718-862-7795 or from P.S./I.S. 89 school at 201 Warren St.
