State Senator Daniel Squadron will be hosting his Fifth Annual Community Convention Sun., April 28.
An invitation from Squadron’s office encourages the community to “make your voice heard on the community and legislative priorities that will shape the future of our district, our city, and our state.”
The convention will feature speakers, including Squadron and local officials, and as well as break out discussion groups pertaining to specific concerns.
The 2012 event was attended by hundreds of community members who spoke on subjects as varied as school overcrowding and transit improvements.
The convention will be held April 28 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Borough of Manhattan Community College at 199 Chambers St. (between West and Greenwich Sts.). To attend, R.S.V.P. by calling 212-298-5565 or emailing squadron@nysenate.gov.
