Super believed to have fallen to his death in Park Ave. building

An autopsy will be performed today on a 67-year-old man believed to have fallen down an elevator shaft to his death at 331 Park Ave. South.

The man, whose identity was being withheld pending notification of relatives, was believed to be the super of the vacant 12-story building, according to news reports.

The FDNY and NYPD responded to a call around 12:30 p.m. yesterday, and found the man at the bottom of the shaft.
