ALTERNATE SIDE PARKING RULES ARE IN EFFECT ALL WEEK

The American Heart Association Wall Street Run and Heart Walk will close streets in the Financial District from 5:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, including Murray, Greenwich, Warren, Church, Liberty, William, Pearl, South William, Broad, John, Water, and State Sts., as well as Battery and Third Pls., and the Battery Park Esplanade. Downtown streets will be affected as early as 4 p.m. and remain closed until 8:30 or 9 p.m.
The Taste of Tribeca festival will close Greenwich St. between Reade and Jay Sts. and Duane St. between Greenwich and Hudson Sts. from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
A Dance Parade from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday will cause rolling closures on Union Square West between 17th and 14th Sts., University Pl. between 14th and 8th Sts., 8th St. between University Pl. and Third Ave., St. Marks Pl. between Third Ave. and Avenue A, Avenue A between 7th and 12th Sts., and 7th and 10th Sts. between Avenues A and B.
The Ye Old Village Fair from 10 a.m. 6 p.m. on Saturday will close Barrow St. between Seventh Ave. and Hudson St., Bedford St. between Christopher and Morton Sts., and Commerce St. between Seventh Ave. and Barrow St.
The 14th-Annual NYPD Memorial 5K Run from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday will close South End Ave. between Liberty and Albany Sts., Albany St. between South End Ave. and West St., West St. between Albany and 12th Sts., and Warren St. between West St. and North End Ave.
The Happening event at the Church Street School from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday will close Warren St. between Greenwich St. and West Broadway.
The Feed the Beast after party event from 4 p.m. to midnight on Monday will cause slowdowns on Franklin St. between Hudson and Greenwich Sts.
Fleet Week New York begins on Wednesday! Expect extra traffic from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Battery Pl. between 1st Pl. and Washington St., and Centre St. between Duane and Pearl Sts.
The New York-bound tube of the Lincoln Tunnel will close from 11 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. on Friday, which means that drivers will head down to the Holland Tunnel. That won’t be much better, since one New York-bound lane will close during the same hours. Expect slowdowns through the tunnel and onto Canal St.
In the Battery Park Underpass, one tube will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday through Friday nights, and from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Saturday. Traffic will be maintained in both directions in the open tube. If the north tube is closed, use the detour and exit onto South St., continue on to Whitehall St., turn left onto State St. to Battery Pl., and then turn left onto Battery Pl. to West St. If the south tube is closed, go south on West St., left onto Battery Pl., continuing onto State St., and going one block north on Water St., then right onto Broad St.
On the FDR Drive at East Houston St. one northbound and one southbound lane will close from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each day this week.
