The waitlist is open for an affordable housing lottery in Koreatown for a handful of units.
According to NYC Housing Connect, the waitlist for 42 West 33rd St. is open for three studio apartments, ranging from $881-923 a month, and one one-bedroom unit, ranging from $931-991 a month. The waitlist is also open for future vacancies in the building.
Each unit has 10 to 12 foot ceilings, high-end energy-efficient kitchen appliances (including an in-unit dishwasher), hardwood floors, smart controls for heating and cooling, and air conditioning.

The building amenities include an elevator, a shared laundry room, access to a pool, gym, spa, community center and business center, a rooftop terrace, a concierge, a security guard and a recycling center. The building is also pet friendly (breed restrictions apply) and has a dog washing station.
Leases started for this building on Oct. 1, 2023, with a 3% increase for a one-year lease or a two-year lease with a 2.75% for the first year and a 3.20% increase for the second year. Those who are approved will be able to make their choice of lease.
