White nights on Astor Pl.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Village Alliance and its partners have festooned the Russian white birch trees at the Astor Pl. subway kiosk triangle with thousands of tiny white lights. This year’s contributors include Chipotle, a new Mexican restaurant at 19 St. Mark’s Pl., located in the former All-Craft Center building. Past supporters of the lights include Kmart, Newmark & Company, Vornado Realty Trust and VNU.
