According to police, on Sat., Jan. 31, at 1:25 p.m., a 30-year-old woman was inside a residential building near the intersection of
Jefferson and Madison Sts. when she was approached by a man who, unprovoked, cut her on the right side of her face with an unknown sharp object.
The woman yelled and the attacker fled the location. The victim was transported to Beth Israel Hospital where she was treated and released.
