A young e-bike rider is hanging onto his life after he collided with an SUV driver in a Bronx crash Saturday morning, according to police.

The 18-year-old man was riding a battery-powered bicycle on the sidewalk at Schley Avenue outside the Throggs Neck Houses NYCHA complex just after 9 a.m. on July 30, according to cops.

When he biked from the path onto the roadway, a driver in a Nissan Pathfinder heading south swiped him with his right fender, police said.

Paramedics brought the cyclist to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition, and the driver stayed on the scene.

Police didn’t charge the driver, and NYPD investigators currently don’t suspect criminality in the case, according to a spokesperson.
