Note-passing crook robs Manhattan bank and takes off with $500

Cops are looking for a note-passing thief who stole money from a Manhattan bank on Tuesday evening.

According to police, at 5:58 p.m. on Feb. 4, an unknown man walked into a TD Bank, located at 469 7th Avenue. Once inside, the man showed a note to the teller, which demanded cash, while making a verbal demand for cash as well.

The teller complied and handed over $500. The suspect then fled the scene southbound on 7th Avenue.
